The rules vary. Here is how it works, wherever you have in mind.

Forever Places
Scattering ashes sounds straightforward, until you start looking into it. What is allowed in one park is not allowed in the next. A coastline in one country has different rules than a coastline an hour away. The information is scattered, and often out of date.
National parks, beaches, rivers, and private land each have their own requirements, and these change over time. Some places ask for permission, some have quiet restrictions, and some welcome it. Knowing which is which is most of the work.
We find out what is permitted where you have in mind, so anything we suggest can be done properly and respectfully. We never take possession of remains. The scattering is carried out by a trusted local we introduce, or by your family. You stay in control of every decision.
A lot of families come to us because the place that matters is far away, sometimes in another country. That is the part we are built for. We do the research and find the right people there, so you do not have to navigate it from afar.
If you have a place in mind, or only a feeling about one, tell us and we will find out what is possible.
