Haida Gwaii — a remote archipelago off the north coast of British Columbia — is one of the most extraordinary and sacred places in Canada. Ancient Haida totems stand in old-growth forests. Wild Pacific beaches stretch for miles without a footprint. The Sitka spruce reach into the mist, and the silence is the kind that actually has a sound.

For families whose loved one had a deep connection to the BC coast, to Indigenous heritage, to the wild edge of things, or simply to places that feel genuinely untouched — Haida Gwaii is unlike anywhere else we offer.

Our guides

We've partnered with two guides with deep local roots and extensive backcountry experience on the islands. They know the land with a respect that goes beyond the professional. Every ceremony conducted here is treated as the significant event it is.

A note on access

Haida Gwaii is remote by design. Getting there requires a ferry or small flight from Prince Rupert. Our guides handle all logistics on the ground. For families who want to attend in person, we can help coordinate travel — but the ceremony can also be conducted on your behalf, with full documentation returned to you.
