You Don’t Have to Be There to Bring Them Where They Belong

Even if you can’t make the journey, we can. We scatter ashes where your loved one belonged—so you can honour them from anywhere.

There’s a quiet kind of ache that comes with not being able to do it yourself.

Maybe the trail is too steep now.
Maybe the drive is too far.
Maybe life has pulled you into a different province, a different routine, a different reality.

And yet—when you think about them,
you still picture that place.

The mountain they always hiked.
The lake they returned to every summer.
The little cove on the coast that felt like their secret.

That’s where they belong.
And just because you can’t go… doesn’t mean they can’t.

At Forever Places, we help you bring your loved one to a place that mattered—quietly, respectfully, and with all the care you’d give if you were doing it yourself.

How it works

You choose the place.

It might be one of our carefully selected locations across Canada—places we’ve scouted for their beauty, stillness, and natural meaning.
Or it might be somewhere specific—somewhere only you and they would understand.

After that, we mail you a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping kit with everything you need to send us a portion of their ashes safely and securely.
You don’t need to research postal codes or packing rules.
We’ve handled it.

Once your loved one arrives, we take them where they need to go.

You’re not alone in this.

We hike the trails.
We paddle the water.
We find the ridge, the meadow, the overlook—
and we scatter their ashes with quiet care.

No ceremony.
No crowd.
No pressure.

Just a private moment between the land and the memory it’s about to hold.

Then we send you a digital photo of the location, GPS coordinates, and—if you’d like—a keepsake from the site. Something you can hold when you want to feel close again.

It’s okay if you can’t go.

Let go of the guilt.
This is still your gesture.
This is still your goodbye.

You are still bringing them to the place they loved.
You are still honouring their story.
And you're doing it in the most thoughtful, peaceful way you can.

Sometimes love looks like showing up in person.
Sometimes love looks like trusting someone else to carry it forward on your behalf.

We’re here for that second kind of love.

Let them rest where they truly belong.
Even if your feet never touch the same trail.

We’ll carry them there with the care they deserve.
