How Forever Places works

We help families scatter ashes in the wild and beautiful places their loved ones felt most at home—across Canada, coast to coast.

You choose the location from our list, or reach out with a special request. Then we mail you a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping kit that meets Canada Post’s regulations for mailing cremated remains.

It includes everything you need: secure packaging, clear instructions, and one gentle first step.

When we receive the ashes, we take them to the place you chose—on foot, by boat, whatever it takes.
We scatter them privately and respectfully.
No ceremony, no pressure.
Just a quiet return to nature.

Afterward, we send you a digital photo of the location, GPS coordinates, and (if you’d like) a keepsake like soil or water from the site. So even if you weren’t there, you’ll always know where they rest—and what it looked like when they got there.
